Brewing Instructions

For a specific coffee, refer to exact brewing parameters such as dose, grind size, ratio, and water temperature on the product page.

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

  • Aeropress
  • Freshly ground coffee (medium fine grind)
  • Kettle
  • Scale
  • Timer
  • Stirring utensil
  • Mug or server

Step 2: Prepare the Equipment

  • Assemble the Aeropress with a paper filter in the filter cap and place it securely on top of your mug or server.
  • Rinse the paper filter with hot water to remove any paper taste and preheat the Aeropress and vessel. Discard the rinse water.

Step 3: Measure and Grind Coffee

  • Use a medium fine grind size for the coffee beans, slightly coarser than table salt consistency.
  • Measure out 18g of coffee beans.

Step 4: Add Coffee Grounds

  • Add the coffee grounds to the Aeropress chamber.

Step 5: Bloom the Coffee

  • Start the timer.
  • Pour a small amount of hot water just enough to saturate the coffee grounds. Allow it to bloom for about 30 seconds.

Step 6: Add Remaining Water

  • Pour the remaining hot water into the Aeropress chamber.

Step 7: Stir and Steep

  • Gently stir the coffee-water mixture with a stirring utensil to ensure even extraction.
  • Attach the filter cap with the pre-wetted filter on the Aeropress chamber.

Step 8: Brewing and Plunging

  • After 2:30 minutes, gently press the plunger down steadily until you hear a hissing sound.
  • This indicates the completion of the brewing process.

Step 9: Serve and Enjoy

  • Carefully remove the Aeropress from your mug or server.
  • Pour the brewed coffee into your cup and enjoy your flavorful Aeropress coffee!

Feel free to experiment with different grind sizes, brewing times, and coffee-to-water ratios to customize your Aeropress brew according to your preferences. Happy brewing!
