Brewing Instructions

For a specific coffee, refer to exact brewing parameters such as dose, grind size, ratio, and water temperature on the product page.  

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

  • Channi filter 
  • Freshly ground coffee (coarse grind) 
  • Kettle 
  • Scale 
  • Timer 
  • Mug or server 

Step 2: Prepare the Equipment

  • Ensure the Channi filter is clean and dry. 
  • Heat water to 95°C. 

Step 3: Measure and Combine

  • Add 20g (approximately 3 tablespoons) of coarsely ground coffee directly into your cup. 
  • Pour 180ml of hot water (95°C) over the coffee grounds. 

Step 4: Steep

  • Allow the coffee to steep for 4 minutes. 

Step 5: Stir

  • At the 4-minute mark, stir the coffee 10 times to ensure proper extraction. 

Step 6: Strain and Serve

  • Set up the Channi filter over another cup. 
  • Slowly pour the brewed coffee from your cup through the Channi filter into the second cup to filter out the grounds. 

Step 7: Customize Your Brew

  • Optionally, add the remaining water or milk to adjust the flavor according to your preference.
